Sage-Gray Asanoha Haori

Sage-Gray Asanoha Haori

R1 700,00Price

This lightweight haori is crafted from a silk–cotton blend in a soft ivory base, woven with a finely detailed asanoha (hemp leaf) pattern in subtle sage-gray (aonibi). The interlocking six-pointed stars lend quiet depth and texture, while the matte weave balances structure with gentle drape, highlighting the timeless geometry of the motif — a symbol of growth, resilience, and protection.

A delicate hand-carved cowrie shell clasp (kogai-gai style) fastens the haori at the waist. Strung on a slender gold-tone chain with a tiny bead accent, the clasp evokes traditional haori-himo while adding a minimalist, coastal elegance. The shell’s natural spiral and creamy interior contrast beautifully with the sage-gray pattern, lending a subtle artisanal flourish.

A refined piece where geometry, texture, and detail meet — the Sage-Gray Asanoha Haori embodies understated sophistication and timeless Japanese craftsmanship.
