Okāsan Kiku Fan Kimono
Part of the Okāsan collection, this full-length hōmongi (visiting kimono) is crafted from soft, lustrous champagne-beige habutai silk.
Along the lower hem, hand-painted yūzen fan motifs (ōgi) feature orange and gold chrysanthemums (kiku), small white plum blossoms (ume), and green maple leaves, a classic autumnal composition symbolizing prosperity, longevity, and seasonal elegance. The fans trail gracefully up one side, creating a flowing, dynamic effect against the warm neutral ground.
Likely from the mid-Shōwa era (circa 1950s–1970s), this kimono reflects the refined seasonal artistry and understated elegance characteristic of the Okāsan collection.
Condition: Good vintage condition — light, age-related wear.
Length: Full length — dramatic and elegant; designed to be worn as a statement piece.
A shimmering kimono of painterly detail and autumnal grace — elegant, vibrant, and timeless.
